Sweet Potato Mash

I love a good sweet potato. Mixing it up by making it into a mash is always a great option. It takes no time to prepare. You simply boil, peel and mash. You can add some cinnamon to jazz it up, but in my opinion, sweet potatoes are one of the most perfect foods we have available. Enjoy!



Ingredients


  • 4 sweet potatoes

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp cream


Directions


Step 1

Boil sweet potatoes for roughly 20 minutes.


Step 2

Drain the sweet potatoes and allow to cool for a few minutes before handling.


Step 3

Cut off the sides and peel the skins off. Be careful! The potatoes will be hot! Plate the sweet potatoes in a big bowl and mash them with a fork until they are the consistency you like.


Step 4

Add the butter and allow to melt a little before adding the cream. Stir until well combined and serve.
