Spooky Pizzas

The easiest festive dinner!

If you're looking for a fun activity for you and the kids to do this Halloween season, this is it. It is so simple, and the variations are endless. Not to mention it's delicious!

If your kids like playing with play dough, this is definitely going to be right up their alley. The fact that they get to be so hands on with the food is so fun for them. I love the versatility of this recipe because you can literally do this for every holiday. If you have a cookie cutter for that holiday, you can make this recipe. Easy! I got my Halloween cookie cutters from Amazon, you can find them here. The other bonus to this recipe is there are lactose-free, gluten-free and low-carb options for those who have specific diets they need to follow.

I would like to point out that this is not all that we ate for dinner, and not everyone's plate looked the same. Also, not every kid finished the pizza. You can see below the difference in each of the kids' plates. We all shared the blueberries. When we first sat down the eat, immediately, my four year old peeled off his cheese slice and ate it whole. He later ate a little over half of his English muffin. My two year old took a whole big bite of his pizza and decided to eat just the cheese and the sauce... He ate maybe a fourth of his English muffin. My six year old ate his entire pizza. They all had slices of ham for extra protein and vegetables that they like. I had an entire English muffin with the cheese and sauce and a handful of blueberries. It's not the most nutritious meal I've ever eaten, but it was fun with the kids. The last half was saved for the next morning. I simply reheated in the oven and topped it with an egg. I'll definitely do this again for another holiday. I hope you give it a try too!
