A crowd pleaser!
This pasta salad was such a great twist with all of the added flavors. I had this on the side and on top of salads for four days straight. I didn't get tired of it either. My in-laws were in town and loved it as well. I will definitely be making this again for summer get togethers and football parties in the fall. Who doesn't love pizza and pasta?!
Ingredients
1 12oz box of Ronzoni Garden Delight Tricolor Rotini
1 8oz container of mozzarella pearls
3oz pepperoni slices (cut in halves)
1 pint of cherry tomatoes (cut in halves)
1 3.8oz jar of sliced black olives (drained and rinsed)
1 red onion (diced)
1 green bell pepper (chopped)
1-2 tbsp fresh basil
1/3 cup olive oil
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
2 tbsp salad herb blend
2 tbsp garlic (minced)
Directions
Step 1
Boil the pasta according to box instructions. Drain and rinse the pasta in cold water.
Step 2
Pour the pasta into a large bowl and throw all of the ingredients in (mozzarella through basil).
Step 3
Mix together the olive oil, vinegar, herbs and garlic in a small bowl. Then, pour all over the pasta and give it all a good toss until well combined.
