The perfect midday smoothie with the perfect macros!
If you are looking for a smoothie that isn't super heavy but still hits all of the macros just right, this is it! Some of my clients choose to have four meals throughout the day, and this would be a great option for that particular scenario. When eating four meals throughout the day, you need to make that midday meal count. So, I almost always recommend smoothies with protein powder just to make sure they get the most well balanced option available (and the most simple option).
Coconut Cashew Smoothie
Ingredients
ice
1 cup coconut water (optional: switch with milk of choice)
1/4 cup cashews
1 serving vanilla protein powder (I used Opportuniteas)
2 tbsp coconut flakes (unsweetened)
optional: strawberry for garnish
Directions
Blend together and enjoy a frozen treat!
