Breakfast In A Mug

Simple for on the go!

This is a very simple way to get a very filling and nutritious breakfast in on a morning that is on-the-go. The fact that it fits in a mug is really ideal. I almost always eat my breakfast in the car (along with doing my makeup... don't judge). The fact that there is an egg in the mug helps so much with the amount of protein. I love that I can start the day with such high protein right off the bat!

Ingredients

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup oats

  • 1/2 cup almond milk

  • 2 tbsp protein powder

  • 1 tsp cinnamon or pumpkin spice

  • optional: maple syrup

Directions


Step 1 Mix all ingredients in a large mug (needs to be at least 12oz mug). Heat in microwave for roughly 2 minutes. Top with berries and/or nuts. Nutrition Facts (no maple syrup, nuts or berries) Calories: 362 Carbs: 33g Fat: 10g Protein: 37g
