Baked Honey Goat Cheese Toast

Perfect midday snack that is sweet and salty!

I made this as a midday snack to get ready to prep dinner. It was so good, I could have had it for a dessert. The sweet and salty mixture is so tasty all together. The vinegar is optional; however, I really enjoyed the extra flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 slice artisanal bread

  • 1oz honey goat cheese

  • 1 tbsp white balsamic vinegar

  • 1/4 granny smith apple (sliced)

  • salt to taste

Directions


Step 1

Toast the bread with the goat cheese on top in the oven at 350 degrees for 5-10 minutes (depending on how much you want your bread toasted).


Step 2

Drizzle with the vinegar and top with the apple slices. Sprinkle a little salt on top and enjoy!
